The trees are budding; the bees are buzzing and everything seems ready to burst into bloom. Soon the kids will be home for the long, hot summer days. They will be running and playing, climbing trees, and probably getting all manner of summer boo-boos in the process. The simple truth is that spending more time outside means an increased likelihood of summertime scrapes, bee and wasp stings, insect and animal bites, sore muscles, bruises and sprained ankles from playing or working hard on household projects. And it also means that your doctor may be out of town with his own family on a vacation or have shorter office hours.
